CINA Reporting Capabilities

product

CINA’s Reporting Services utilize the full scope of the standardized data housed within the CINA CDR™ to create a wide range of comprehensive reporting options. Aimed at assisting practices in improved patient population management, CINA’s reporting options include patient registries and clinical measure reports for both the provider and the practice.

Improving Performance in Practice (IPIP):

IPIP is a state-based, nationally led quality improvement initiative. It brings together technology, data, and proven quality improvement methods to help physicians give their patients the best possible care.

IPIP participants receive:

  • Quality Improvement Coach
  • Quality Improvement support from a national expert team
  • Monthly aggregate report on IPIP measures
  • Practice explorer to compare performance to peers
  • Opportunity to receive Part IV credit for MOC & CME credit
  • Link to NCQA recognition programs and P4P Initiatives
  • Tools to improve efficiency and quality

For more information, please visit the IPIP website.

Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q):

Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q) is the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s (RWJF) signature effort to lift the overall quality of health care in targeted communities, reduce racial and ethnic disparities and provide models for national reform. AF4Q asks the people who get care, give care, and pay for care to work together toward common, fundamental objectives to lead to better care.

Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Prevention Program

CINA is able to extract data for submission to the QIO Prevention Program. QIOs are private, mostly not-for-profit organizations, which are staffed by professionals, mostly doctors and other health care professionals, who are trained to review medical care and help beneficiaries with complaints about the quality of care and to implement improvements in the quality of care available throughout the spectrum of care. QIO contracts are 3 years in length, with each 3-year cycle referenced as an ordinal "SOW."

NCQA Certification

The NCQA seal is a widely recognized symbol of quality. Organizations incorporating the seal into advertising and marketing materials must first pass a rigorous, comprehensive review and must annually report on their performance. For consumers and employers, the seal is a reliable indicator that an organization is well-managed and delivers high quality care and service.

Certification Programs Include:

  • Credentials Verification Organization (CVO)
  • Disease Management (DM)
  • Health Information Products (HIP)
  • Physician Organization (PO)
  • Utilization Management (UM) and Credentialing (CR)

For more information, please visit the NCQA website.

E-prescribing Incentive Program

This new incentive program, which began on January 1, 2009, is separate from and is in addition to PQRI. Eligible professionals do not need to participate in PQRI to participate in the Electronic Prescribing (eRx) Incentive Program.

To be considered a successful electronic prescriber for the 2010 eRx Incentive Program and potentially qualify to earn a 2.0% incentive payment for the 2010 eRx Incentive Program, an individual EP must report the eRx measure for at least 25 unique electronic prescribing events in which the measure is reportable by the EP during 2010.
