The CINA Difference
The success of the CINA Quality Suite stems from its ability to aggregate and standardize patient and administrative data from a variety of sources including lab reports, EMR’s, EHR’s, etc. EMR’s allow for a variety of ways to input data in order to make the process easier for providers and administrative staff. While this does improve “ease of use” at the input level, extracting this data into a standardized format where it can be utilized presents a problem. If data has been entered in the inappropriate location, traditional data mining software will not retrieve the information. CINA digs for any gaps in data and searches every location within multiple data sources.
