Since 1995, the founders of CINA have followed the vision of helping providers improve the quality of care they deliver in the ambulatory (outpatient) setting.  In 2004, CINA began developing a suite of products and services to help its clients realize that shared vision.

CINA’s suite of innovative electronic solutions for the healthcare industry, include its Clinical Data Repository (CDR) and Protocol Engine.  The CINA’s CDR is an integrated database of lab results, electronic medical records, and practice management information within the clinical practice. CINA’s protocol engine compares all available CDR data against nationally recognized electronic health guidelines to produce evidence based, single page “snapshot” of each patient. Patient Population Management, Provider and Practice Trending, and Commercial/Governmental Pay for Performance Reporting are all supported by CINA’s solutions.

Currently implemented in various size physician practices, residency programs, clinical research, RHIOs, Electronic Health Records (EHR), Patient Health Records (PHR), AHRQ-funded research grants, and national demonstration projects, CINA solutions consistently identify risks, goals and recommendations for individual patients, driving improved quality of care and supporting pay-for-performance initiatives.
